Our journey began in the wine business, which brought the four of us to the Napa Valley.

From the very start of our friendship, we shared a passion for food and wine, with Italy at the heart of our conversations. Gathering to play the card game of "scopa" quickly became a tradition, and we often joked about moving back to Italy, returning to the slower pace of life and la dolce vita.

Then came the spark: why not bring a piece of Italy to us?

Elio, the Latin word for the sun, aims to bring light to regional treasures of centuries-old culinary traditions. This is why our logo features the "denari" from the traditional Neapolitan card game. This sun-like symbol represents wealth, abundance, and good fortune. And we believe Italy's olive oil is its greatest currency!
